Harry Edward Styles, known to the world of music by the name of Harry Styles, is a British musician and singer who is regarded as a member of the band One Direction. Born in Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England, on 1 February 1994, he is the son of Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School. There, along with three schoolmates, he founded his own group, White Eskimo. After winning the Battle of Bands 2009 thanks to a stellar performance, they were also a part of the Battle of Bands in the 2010 Battle of Bands. Although he has always been attracted to music, he also aspired to become an attorney or physiotherapist. For a while he worked as a part-time baker in the city he lived in with the aim of helping financially at home. Harry Styles, in 2010, auditioned to be on The X Factor. His track Is not She Lovely was recorded by Stevie Wonder. For that reason his band had to separate. Nicole Scherzinger told Harry Styles, Liam Payne Zayn Milik Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson that they would form the group One Direction after the X The X. The formation of the group began in 2010 and the five youngsters were sponsored by Simon Cowell. The group performed hits like My Life Would Suffer Without You which was written by Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. The group was one of the candidates for the award. But they came in third place, just behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles' group didn't win, but Cowell did pay two million dollars for One Direction for them to sign a deal with Syco.
