Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy is a 16-year old American who was born in Miami Florida. She is half English mixed with Spanish she is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. The father of her was Argentine and has Scottish as well as English ancestry. Her mother is Spanish-English. She was the first born of a household with six kids. Four of her siblings are from her previous marriage to Taylor's father. Family was at Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy reached the age of six, then moved to Victoria district in London. Taylor-Joy stated the relocation was difficult and that she was unable to study English because she hoped to be able to return to Argentina. Hill House, a school within the same district as Northlands was obligated to accept her. In the following years, she attended Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. Then she dropped out of the high school aged 16 to focus on her acting profession. Taylor-Joy has always wanted to work as an actor. When she was 16, Sarah Doukas Founder of Storm Management gave her the opportunity to become a model.
